We are a very small exotic cat breeder we are not a CATTERY! We are based out of Oregon and raising Maine coons, and Highlander -Highlander Lynx cats at this time we also do the Maine Coon X Highlander Lynx for the coveted Pharoha cat!!!.
The Maine Coon is hard to beat with its dog-like personality and so affectionate we absolutely adore our Maine Coons and they get along wonderfully with the dogs!
The Highlander/Highlander Lynx is also dog-like and a very laid back and loving breed of cat, known for the curled ears and poly paws often and can have a nub/stub tail. The Hibernian Lynx is just a more jungle-looking form a bit on the wilder side and Highlander Lynx are used to make them.
Even though our cat breeding hobby is based out of Oregon we migrate with the weather to Southern, California for the winter, and return in late spring. Though several of our Maine Coon cats and Highlander Lynx stay and live at my son's home in Eugene Oregon.
All of our cats are raised inside our home and travel with us in our 45-foot RV when we travel. They are exposed to dogs at a very early age, and they are exposed to sounds and senses for the best neurological development and to make highly adjusted Kittens for their new families and homes.
My love for Maine Coons sent me on a search wanting DNA tested for health and both our Maine Coons are DNA CLEARS one is a carrier of one gene our male is a Clear so we can never produce an affected genetically with any breeding. Affecteds are what have the disease tested for genetically. Mainecoons are known for dog-like personalities want a Maine Coon kitten or a Highlander Lynx kitten here in Oregon or a Maine Coon Kitten or Highlander Lynx kitten in California we can accommodate due to our travels we are in Oregon and California and often even AZ during the winter and spring months. note that our kittens are extremely reasonable due to this being a hobby for the love of raising socialized exotic kittens they come with a year's health guarantee for life-threatening genetic defects and they are up to date on Vaccines being a Vet Tech and deworming. Know this we do have a spay-neuter contract and we do not Register our kittens they are placed strictly in pet homes. Thank you for your understanding.
In our program, we have just a few queens and three Toms. All of our exotic Maine Coon cats and Highlander Lynx are housed with our dogs, so our kittens are used to dogs when they leave for your home. My cats are a hobby I share with my son so several of the cats live with him. Feel free to reach out to us about planned exotic Kitten litters. We don't ask much for our kittens compared to what others ask. Please email or call for more info. We do require speaking with you before adding you to our waiting list.
NOTE: So we are a Cat breeder who believes that the cats should be active members of the family this means all of them. All of our cats have free roam when it is appropriate this means Queens with kittens out of Safety need their personal space and health, When we have Queens in heat and only want a selected stud bred to her, safety concerns with visitors, etc. All breeders must have a crate large enough to house their cats during these times it is reckless not to have this available when needed for their safety and to control breeding practices these breeders who claim not to have this if truly doing this without any confinement at any time you have seriously questioned their knowledge and practices. Just my opinion and many opinions of educated Cat breeders. Sole opinion of my own as a Vet Tech, and expert Speaker on such subjects. Please do your research many breeders may not be being fully transparent or honest with people. I believe in transparency. I do feel all cats need a life and do not believe in Catteries raising cats outside and fully caged even toms need stress relief and to be a part of a family. This in my personal opinion is very necessary for the overall health of all cats and socialization. Once again this is my own personal opinion through my research and experience.
